METHOD

  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan-forced. line a 12-hole, 1/3-cup (80ml) muffin pan with paper cases.
  2. using an electric mixer, beat flour, sugar, eggs, NESTLÉ CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk, butter and vanilla until smooth.
  3. spoon mixture evenly into cases. bake for 15- 20 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. cool on wire rack.
  4. using an electric mixer; beat butter until pale and creamy. gradually add in icing sugar mixture; tint with food colouring; beat until light and fluffy. use a small palette knife or round-bladed knife to spread icing over cakes.
  5. decorate with a variety of lollies such as SMARTIES and ALLENS party mix to form bugs, see recipe picture for ideas.
