To begin making your caramel bread and butter pudding, preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. spread butter evenly over bread slices, cut into fingers. spray a 1 litre ceramic baking dish with oil and coat with brown sugar. layer bread (buttered side up) over brown sugar.

Beat eggs and vanilla essence until combined, add NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk and water, mix until combined. carefully pour over bread, sprinkle with cinnamon, and now there's just one more step to complete your bread and butter pudding.

Bake the bread and butter pudding for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
