NESTLÉ CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk 340ml
METHOD

preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. line a 20cm round cake pan with baking paper.

place figs, ginger and orange juice in a small saucepan, cook over a medium heat until mixture comes to the boil and thickens.

remove from heat, add butter, bicarbonate of soda and sugar, mix well. cool slightly.

stir in eggs, flour and nestlÉ dark choc bits; spoon into prepared pan. bake 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

combine 1/4 cup (60ml) NESTLÉ CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk with custard powder in a medium saucepan. add remaining NESTLÉ CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk, sugar and syrup.

stir over a low heat until sauce boils and thickens. serve with warm fig pudding.
